Luc St-Onge

  Dr. St-Onge has strong credentials in the biotech industry and the scientific community. He obtained his PhD at the University of Sherbrooke in Canada where he worked in the field of cancer. In 1993, he moved to Germany and was a research scientist in the laboratory of Professor Peter Gruss at the Max-Planck-Institute of Biophysical Chemistry. During this time, he studied the molecular and genetic mechanisms regulating pancreas development. He joined DeveloGen AG upon its foundation where he was director of the diabetes program. Throughout his career, he has published in top ranking journals and was granted several patents related to stem cells and novel therapeutic strategies against diabetes. Dr. St-Onge joined Affectis in 2003.
