Kay Brune

  Prof. Brune is world-renowned expert in the pharmacology of COX-2 inhibitors. His primary research focus is the pharmacology of pain and inflammation and within this field, Prof. Brune has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and was the President of the German Society of Experimental and Clinical Pharmacology and Toxicology and Vice President of the German Society for the Study of Pain. He has also won several distinguished awards, including the German Pain Research Prize. Prof. Brune received his medical degree from the Universities of Basel/Switzerland, Hamburg and Munich/Germany.
